It wasn't a stupid name. Just one that most of the world has no
clue
how to pronounce correctly. So, two names, one Anglicized, for convenience.
Although, gramatically,
Ibn al Xu'ffasch
functions normally as a family name rather than as a given name.
...Maybe a little weird.
