Not easy at all. I didn't meet her officially until I was eight.

She sent me to distract my father so she could conduct League operations without his interference. But when I chose to follow him, I was exiled, and declared an enemy. She had a younger clone of my own ready to replace me.

She'll probably kill me, if we meet again.



...But I miss her. A lot. She's my mother.

I never thought I'd ever get the chance or the time the see Father again. Much less reconcile with her. If there's one thing about this city that I like, then it's that chance.

[Maybe she had been a bit impatient about persuading Father back in her world, but she had limited time left. As a homunculus, her life would burn out faster than a human's.]

Parental conflicts aside, he's a great man.

Also, I'm pretty sure nobody would be able to find our bodies if we did.

He may be human, but my father is a master of multiple combat styles, as well as a tactical genius. His intuitive skills are unparalleled, even by other superheroes.

Moreover, he has access to advanced technologies in crime-fighting specifically against metahumans. My utility belt is stocked with only a fraction of what he carries at any given moment.

We could possibly hold our own, but our odds of successfully beating him are unlikely.

Exceedingly annoying. I punched him off a dinosaur and I don't regret it for a moment.

The League taught me to kill competition. It didn't make a good first impression.

[ If he's honest with himself, he still doesn't know better. Killing is a practical way to deal with threats. But he takes the no killing rule seriously. ]

There were a few events in between, but the gist of it is that he saved me and took me back in after my grandfather tried to possess my body.

He's not heartless. Just cautious.
